The Maine Gay Men’s Chorus, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) organization, which depends not only on its audience and community, but also on donors, sponsors, advertisers, volunteers, and its singing and non-singing members to support its mission. Ticket sales offset only a fraction of the expenses associated with rehearsal and performance spaces, equipment and production, scores and performance rights, stipends, and many other needs.
